"My stay was great. The place is huge and the rooms are nice and roomy. (We did get an upgrade but I’m sure a regular room would have been great) Parkkng was very convenient. Breakfast was early so that was good for our schedule. Nice to have the restaurant attached. Not open Sunday evenings tho!"

"This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. "No fresh food for four days. No counter service. Bed was ok, but no king size beds. Toilet did not fully flush. Sink cabinetry cracked. Toilet size for children. Room wall light did not work. Window curtain broken. No motel signage. Property not suited for general public. Smells bad. This motel needs to be bulldozed."
