"We stay here often when in town. With a full agenda we decided to see if we could check in early, mainly to get our key as we would be back late after reception closed. We arrived at 12.15 and were told we could check in early for a $50 fee. Or we could come back at 1.30 and check in early at no cost. We chose the latter and went for a coffee. We do understand that checking in early is at the hotels discretion, but obviously the room was available so the fee did seem excessive. Overall we...
