"The owners and staff were very friendly, personable and helpful. The inn has a unique rustic decor with beautiful murals painted by one of the owners, giving the inn a western/Colorado feel. Rooms were clean and well maintained. A fresh continental breakfast bar was provided each morning. The property was beautifully landscaped with many unique features including an old western wagon, driftwood arranged with plants, statues, bird houses, etc. The owners of 25 years take great pride in maintaining their inn to provide their guests a great experience. Some of the guests I met were repeat customers, and I can honestly say I would stay here again the next time my travels bring me through Salida. "

"Wonderful hotel—we always enjoy our stay! One thing that we have consistently noticed is the poor quality of the WiFi signal to the rooms—it’s often impossible to connect or even watch Netflix. Other than that, a wonderful place to stay in an beautiful location!"
