"The condition of this property is poor, the pool area is clean and the inside of the hotel needs repairs, everything is very old. The windows need cleaning. The fuses in our room went out and we were without electricity. In general, it is noticeable that the management does not want to spend an extra cent. The location is good. There is also no roof at the entrance, if it rains you get wet."

Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders)."

"Nice hotel, by the beach and with a nice pool. They room was big an airy. Only downside was the bathroom was dated and needed better lighting. When ordering a taxi, be wary as the front desk orders a private car with a surcharge for card payments. It was ok and nice option, but a bit shady on how they upsell and are not transparent about it "
