"Food good, breakfast nice, although expensive. Swimming pool looked and prob was lovely but right next to restaurant with glass walls so a bit too public for us. Nice sitting area close to trees with monkeys passing through. Staff very courteous and helpful, they arranged an elephant safari for us the same afternoon we arrived. The hotel is quite far from any other hotels or sights - Sigiriya is about 40 mins - so there’s no walking to eat anywhere else but you could get a tuktuk."

"The guesthouse is a basic one. Our room was equipped with a fan and a air-conditioner. There were some ants in the bathroom, but we could not find any of them in the room. Free soft drinks were provided. It seems that the guesthouse owner also owns a car renting company which can provide day-tour services for the guests, so once we had arrived at the guesthouse, the owner started to explain the tours for us.
