"The hotel is located in an excellent location if you need to have transportation to Manhattan. The train station is practically part of the hotel. It is to bad that the hotel does not have an agreement with the parking lot next to it. The rate is absolutely crazy and the option of a reasonable rate is in a parking lot that is not next to the hotel. The area has many homeless people around, so walking back to the hotel from the parking lot at night is a little scary. There is police in the area of the train, but not always. The hotel needs tlc for being a DoubleTree property. In our room, the ceiling was peeling, and the bathroom sink and shower did not look properly cleaned, since I saw hair from a previous guest. I do want to praise the employees who were extremely helpful and informative. The hotel should also review the schedule for the shuttle bus from airport. We got to the T3 location hotel shuttle bus at 1143am and since the shuttle only operate on the hour we had just missed the bus that had arrived at 1130am so do to that schedule we had to wait till 1230pm for the next shuttle while watching the other hotel shuttles come 2 and 3 times around to pick up their guest. I think DoubleTree has to do a better job with this situation and have two different buses going back and forth. If you do not time it correctly expect to wait a long time for the shuttle."
