"Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.
Pros: Great location near shopping/old town. Hotel staff very attentive. Rooms clean and well maintained.
Cons: Repairs/scaffolding underway create noise and visual impairment out windows. Pigeons (birds) are in the walls/ceilings of several rooms... they have penetrated through the roof or air vents (noise). Bathroom shower stall very small and shower floor dangerously slippery.
Neutral: Breakfast buffet good at fair price, but...

"The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city, relatively close to several interesting places. We were surprised by the size of the room. It was tiny. We reserved an accesible room with an additional sofa-bed thinking that without using it, it'll be more spacious but it was completely opposite. With our luggage and a round table it was almost impossible to move around. The room cleaning was superficial. Breakfast was good and the parking is paid by the hour."

"The hotel is very well placed in old district of Bordeaux, the beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would have found it helpful if the posting for the hotel noted that guests needed to carry their bags up & down some stairs since elevator stops are not on the same level as the rooms and lobby. It wasn’t a problem for us since our bags were not too large and the staff were eager to help. We liked the hotel."

"I rarely write a review but I think this hotel experience categorically does not deserve a rating of over 8, given that our room:
- was next to a public alleyway, meaning the curtains had to be closed the whole time, allowing for no natural light
- had no door between the bedroom and toilet, with a short distance between the two, absolutely zero privacy
I imagine we were given one of the worst rooms in the hotel, but regardless this is completely subpar quality for the experience expected!"

"We arrived late, however for the entire time we didn’t receive the parking QR code. Turned out to be the staff wrote down my email wrong (mess up with my last name). Do we had to pay 75 Euros extra for the parking plus 40 minutes extra to find the parking garage. After 8 hours driving and mid night, it was a bummer. Then the room sheets were smelling from something. The bathroom floor was dirty, the bathroom door handle was falling off and during our entire stay, no one seemed to care about it....
