"This was a great place to stay in Mount Crested Butte. The place itself was tidy and clean. It has a nice couch and TV area as well as a little kitchen area. The bed is also nice and comfortable. The host was very communicative and when there was one issue that popped up it got sorted out quickly and efficiently with good communication. I like that this place was not far from down town and was a nice place with easy access to trails and the downtown. We had a great stay."

"The property was exactly as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised to discover how close it is to Elk Avenue, the main street in town. The area is extremely safe and felt very homey. All of the staff was helpful and friendly."

"The property was clean, and I really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. However, I was disappointed with the service at the front desk. On the morning of check-out, we woke up to find there was no running water, which we discovered from a note slipped under the door explaining that there would be no water from 8am to 4pm. Feeling a little frustrated by this inconvenience, I approached the front desk to ask for more information and see if there was anything they could do to help. I mentioned I was frustrated and the staff members reaction was quite rude and dismissive, giving only a dead stare and asking, "Well, what are you looking for?" It made me wonder if this is the kind of customer service we should expect. While I understand emergencies can't always be avoided, a little reassurance or assistance would have gone a long way in making our stay more comfortable. Sadly, no apology or sympathy was offered for the major inconvenience of not being able to shower or use the restroom. It felt like we were treated more like an annoyance than valued guests, which was very disappointing and made for a poor experience."

"This is our second time staying at the Nordic and it is a great spot just outside the main drag of crested butte. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and the breakfast is a simple, tasty spread of coffee, tea, pastries, breakfast burritos, yogurt, and cereal. The beds are cozy and the location is perfect for a mix of hiking, skiing, bike riding all over CB. While we would typically camp in this area, the weather in the off-season can be unpredictable, so the Nordic is a great, no-frills option for single, couple, or family travelers. We stayed with our dog and a reminder: call the hotel ahead of time if you have a pet."

"We arrived at the check-in time of 4 pm and were told the condo wasn't ready, with no estimate of when it would be ready. Ultimately, we were not able to check in until 7 pm! That was very poor service and unacceptable. Think how ridiculous that is! The description of our unit said that there is no elevator. However, we weren't expecting the unit to be four floors up. Beware that when combined with our three-level condo, the master bedroom was six floors up! We were definitely huffing and puffing. If climbing stairs at altitude is for you, then don't rent this condo. The unit is nice, but has a lot of maintenance issues. There are multiple things that need maintenance. It's clear that the owners/managers are not maintaining the unit properly. I could have tried calling in the list of maintenance items, but I didn't care to have repairmen running around during our visit (should that actually happen!). Most maintenance items are obvious and the owners/managers should be fixing these things in between renters."
