"The room was not clean and the soap was empty so we couldn’t even take a shower. The young gentleman at the reception was very rude. The pools are soooo dirty and crowded with outside guests because they sell the spa pass separately. Watch out because they overcharge you and steal your money if you’re not careful. I wouldn’t stay here if I was looking for a safe and peaceful stay. They also had construction going on and the food at breakfast was very bad. "

"The bartender lady in the hotel bar was professional, kind, attentive. The hotel itself is very tired but clean. It feels like it was opened in the eighties and kept clean but not refurbished. It is an interesting experience: a time-travel feeling. The wellness facilities are great though."

"Pros: The property is close to the centre of Màtrafüred, where the restaurants are, and it is also close to the hiking trails. It has a pool (though it is a bit dated) a kitchen and dining area for guests to use, as well as a sauna and a nice back garden in the woods. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and the room was clean. Cons: The property is right next to the main road, so if you have a room that faces that side, it is very noisy. "This is a very quaint and beautiful hotel. The person at reception was very friendly and helpful. We stayed next door to the main building. Our unit was cozy, clean and quiet with beautiful decor. Food and staff at the restaurant were exceptional. Breakfast buffet outstanding. Hotel situated in the heart of the wine valley yet not far from the city center. We were able to hop on the little tourist train across the street to the hotel to get to the main sights in town.We wish we had more time here."
