"A bit of sad place. Partially renovated, but the old carpet, tiles and paint make it feel like you are in a cheap motel. We booked the room through Expedia. Upon check in we were told it is customary practice to take $150 security deposit. That's the first one for us. The cameras on the outside of the property did not make us feel any safer. Sketchy area. Will not stay here again, sorry."

"We really thought the garden area was beautiful. It even had a Koi pond. Very unique. The one thing that was disappointing was the mattresses. They are worn out and it’s like sleeping in a hammock. But we are still very impressed with the hotel and staff, we will stay there again."

"The place is pretty cool, built in 1922, I liked everything about it except no hot water with poor water pressure. At $200 a night, you kinda except hot flowing water."

"The front desk staff were extremely helpful and provided me with free shuttle service to and from the airport. Plus, the service and food at the Blue Fusion Bistro was outstanding!"

"The property was decent. The front lobby is nice. There is a pool and games for people to play. There was a great outdoor space for people to grill and hangout. The breakfast was fair. Fruit, cereal and microwave able items in the refrigerator. The rooms were a bit dated and the beds were less than desirable. The staff was helpful and nice. You get what you pay for."

"Location, location, location! This place is all about its beautiful ocean views and the sound of the surf. We are already talking about when we can come back. We had concerns about the check in since it was all online and coverage in that area is poor, but we finally found a spot where we could download the email and got the entry code, so it worked out."
