"A very comfortable stay with accommodating and caring staff. We stayed in Gulmarg in July during a period of political instability that restricted movement and travel within Kashmir. The staff gladly put us up for an extra night and ensured we were well fed and cared for. Only suggestion is to upgrade bathrooms as they were a little worn out."

Things not satisfactory: Bed height in our room was too low,approx 1.5 feet high, difficult to use especially if you have any elderly person with you. There is no lift . The complementary breakfast and food available is extremely limited,don't go by the extensive printed menu available in the room. "The stay at this property was excellent. Right from the reception to room service to the restaurant service and the ambiance around was outstanding. A special word for the Reception Manager Mr Kuljeet - he was very helpful and ready to assist in every question you had. He made my stay very comfortable. Mr Namgayal the owner is a very pleasant person and a great host. The boy in the restaurant Mr Raj was also wonderful and made sure every request was attended to. Overall, a great place and wonderful stay and experience. Thanks"
