There was no safe parking on site. I parked on street. The final straw was the unimaginable of the front desk trying to use their master key to come into my room at 6AM. Fortunately, the chain was there. Not safe here for your car or your person. Stay away."

"Don’t stay at the Lakeview Lodge Motel. The room was horrible! Here is why: the bathroom was a disaster. The sink faucet wasn’t fastened to the sink, the bath towels looked like shop rags, the shower had so many repairs it was all stained and dirty, plumbing line for the bathroom was on the outside wall in the room…weird. "For an inexpensive motel, this was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not mentioned in other reviews, there was a coffee maker and small refrigerator. The only dissappointment is the town had no stores or taverns open at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon except the American Legion which we did not have our membership cards with us. So, we had a great dinner at the corner Mexican resturant which seemed to be a town favorite. Our waitress was delightful ! Would stay there again."
