"Westin Langkawi is a lovely resort with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding islands. Staff are very attentive and accommodating. The room itself was large and comfortable however could do with some freshening up as it seems to be a bit outdated. Excellent buffet breakfast with great view. Other food options at the resort were not to the standard I would have hoped considering price. Lovely outdoor pools with plenty of shaded areas to relax. "

"The hotel is nice and it has a superb sunrise. We had a premier sea view room and it was amazing to wake up and see that sunrise. Besides that though there is not much to do around and in the area dining options are limited. Cleanliness was ok but could be improved. Noise level was also hard to manage because there is a live band every night that we could hear from our room."

"A very pleasant few days at The Pelangi. The resort is spacious with well kept grounds and fantastic pools. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful, a special shout out for the kindness of Azri at the Cascade Pool. The rooms could perhaps do with a little update, and breakfast was a bit overcrowded at the Pelangi Grill on one of the days, but nothing that spoiled our lovely experience at Pelangi. "
