The location was superb, even though it is 1.3km from the town centre (which is totally walkable, but the hotel offers a free shuttle service to/from town if you need it). "We booked this place as the photos we had looked at on trivago were for somewhere different. When I clicked on the link to go through to hotels.com to confirm the booking, it was for the Phongsavanh resort which I unfortunately didn't realise until a day later. We turned up & staff couldn't find our booking & so put us in a $20 room as opposed to a $40 room. "We got this hotel just to be close to the airport. It was perfect for one night. We checked in late and left early so didn’t get to use any of the amenities or have breakfast, but the AC works great. Staff brought bags turbo lobby for us, but we had to bring them to the rooms ourselves."
