"This hotel is a two mile walk from the town with no shops/supermarket to purchase food or drink. We got breakfast and dinner but then nowhere to buy anything for lunch and they charge you for water from the bar/kitchen. The fridge in the room was only big enough to hold two bottles of water and didn't even keep it cool. "Having just spent a week with my daughter at this amazing hotel, we cannot praise it enough. Everything was perfect. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne and a room upgrade, and the rest of the stay followed suit. Couldn’t fault the facilities and everything was immaculately clean. Really well located in Crete and great front of house staff that were happy to help and provide suggestions. A week of luxury and couldn’t recommend enough! Hoping to return again some day - thank you! "

"All inclusive is worth it. Enjoyed the spa services as well - a little overpriced in my opinion but you will still enjoy it. Accommodations were clean and housekeeping was responsive. Had an issue with the staff not being culturally humble when I arrived and there was a misunderstanding that was offensive to me and was difficult to approach them after. "

"We really loved everything about Vangelis Villas.
