"My wife and I arrived around 1130am on a Thursday. We would be riding our bicycles on the trails that run along the Straight River. Our plan was to park in the hotel parking lot and spend the day touring the trails, then check in later in the day. The front desk person, Ashe, greeted us in a professional and friendly manner. After hearing about our plans, Ashe told us our room was ready and we could check in immediately and use our room if necessary. That was a WOW for me and my wife. She wanted to change clothes and this would work great for her. Our room was clean and spacious. The upholstery is dated but our intentions were to be outside and not spending a lot of time in our room. We did have a fireplace however it was out of order. The whirlpool in the room was very nice! Having that to use after long day of biking was a special treat. Because of that feature, we did not use the pool or the hot tub although that area looked very clean and inviting. The free breakfast included all the usual continetal breakfast options as well as fresh bacon and small taco omelettes. It was perfect for our needs before starting another day of bike trail riding."
