"Hotel Golden Star is a comfortable and friendly place to stay in Iquitos. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The WiFi is decent enough to contact family from most rooms of the hotel. The only - major - concern I have for this hotel is that they didn’t save my reservation through hotels dot com - they said that it was made too early (six months in advance as I am traveling with colleagues) and they didn’t keep it on file. I had also emailed the hotel a week earlier with no response....
