"Pricey and not amazing food at dinner, would recommend to eat somewhere else. Great rooms and having AC is great!"

"It was close to the train station"

"The room was clean and the staff were polite. The door lock kept alarming when we walked out of the room so the staff said slam the door…then it alarmed when opening the door. The WiFi isn’t great. You need a reservation to eat, which we didn’t know. We couldn’t eat at the property and there is nothing that is a reasonable walk. The property was pretty and quiet."

"The staff was great. Everything about the spa and hours were explained clearly and quickly. The morning breakfast had a wide variety of savory and sweet foods along with beverages. The view in the back is wonderful and quiet."

"The facilities are large, but the cleanliness is truly awful. The heated pool is filthy, and the bathrooms and showers are so disgusting and full of mold and filth that you'd rather not shower to avoid catching a fungal infection. They cut off the electricity and water for four hours one day to trim the trees without warning. They closed the pool because of the power outage, but the restaurant had electricity and water. We had to go to a café in town to use the bathroom. I don't recommend this...

"Very comfortable, luxurious room with an excellent breakfast and top notch service ✨"

"Beautiful place, clean rooms, nice restaurant and wow, what a view!"

"Good facilities and great for kids, but the bedroom was too hot and couldn’t get cool at night. "

"Nice hotel with a great restaurant."

"Very quiet and a quick walk to city center. Parking was easy."

"Great hotel in a lovely small town with parking and good amenities. Fantastic breakfast too."

"Excellent walks for dogs. Room had very low ceiling and suffer from external noises from plumbing and water heater. The food at the restaurant was disappointing. "

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Alfred Hotel! We hope to return in the future! The Hotel room was stunning, and spotless! It had everything we needed. The stuff was so kind and helpful! They recommend beautiful place to visite and an amazing restaurant to eat at! We enjoyed every second of our stay!"

"Nicklaus was a great welcoming host. "

"Wonderful place to stay on the “Main Street” walking distance to everything we came to see"

"Beautiful hotel, lovely location and great amenities... 5-Star all round"

"Excellent setting and great staff"

"We did not ask for, nor did we appreciate a tiny appartment instead of two rooms in which I had to creep past my sleeping colleague to use the bathroom."
