"Nothing spectacular however delivered comfort together with a decent breakfast for AUD35. This compares to a nearby hotel I paid AUD45 that was more comfortable but had to move from because of noise; trains and karaoke bar. If worried about getting woken by the trains, ask for a room away from the road. Hotel offers a small roof top resturant to enjoy a drink and meal in the evening "

"This guesthouse was very nice and comfortable. The wifi was limited to the reception area, which was disappointing. Breakfast was limited in options - no fruit or yoghurt, only white bread, fried eggs only that were very undercooked. There were plenty of more traditional local options however. Bicycle hire was convenient for visiting the temples, but the bikes were in poor repair and quite uncomfortable to ride, but at least they worked. Staff were helpful and friendly and helped me with booking...

"We loved our stay at the hotel , location is the one of the best available in Bagan , with sunset , sunrise points near by , river side view & one of the most beautiful sunset views. Rooms were spacious & staff super courteous and helpful , breakfast spread was nice and dinners were also good, had a nice surprise on our anniversary from hotel staff, THANKS. Only opt for river view or lawn facing rooms . Pool side rooms are in need of renovation and do not have much of a view , do not recommend...

"Everything about our stay at Bagan Hotel River View was excellent-- from the views, to the staff, to the pool, to our room and small patio. We were able to rent e-bikes from the hotel and bike around the pagodas, which was lovely. The thoughtfulness that went in to each and every detail of this hotel made our 2-day stay not at all long enough. Would highly recommend to anyone going through Bagan."
