"Check in was very straightforward. The room was on the second floor, facing the parking lot. This is a motel style property with all rooms opening to the outside. The room was well decorated but some of the furnishing had some wear and tear and one of the lightbulbs was on its last legs. Overall the room was fairly dark and could have used a main light. Cleanliness was acceptable but there was a lot of dust on the floor behind the sliding door. The beds were comfortable and we slept well, without noise from other rooms or the surroundings.
The staff are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Coffee is available fresh 24/7 and the breakfast was good. Other amenities include guest laundry (which we did not use), a heated pool, and fires/fire pits.
The location of the motel is good but the walk to the main street is longer than it first appears, so be prepared to get some steps in.
Would not hesitate to stay here again next time we are in town."
