"The Nirvana Boutique Hotel is a little oasis in the middle the Thamel area of Kathmandu!! Their outdoor garden courtyard is the perfect place to relax with your meal or a drink after a busy day out! The staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful, friendly and warm! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! I would highly recommend the Nirvana Boutique hotel!! "

"The hotel property and service were excellent. The problem with this visit was that the mountains were not visible. We went in the recommended month, April, to see the mountains. All we saw was smog inversion from Kathmandu. There is nothing else to do around the property except view the mountains and use the resort facilities. The spa was excellent."

"Nice boutique hotel outside the hustle and bustle of the central district. Easy to and from airport and private car can be arranged. Very courteous and pleasant staff. Especially high marks for Menuka at the front desk who was extremely helpful and accommodating. Several food options available within the property itself including a French restaurant and next door great coffee and lunch at Cafe Himalaya Rooms were wel appointed with balconies. Hotel is filled with many artificers and artwork...

"Very well maintained property. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Only issue was at check-in. I had reserved a room for a half day as my flight left in the evening. I had my text message from the hotel stating it would be $50 extra which I agreed to. Lady at the desk had to see the text. Take a screen shot and make a phone call to get approval. Rest of the stay was fine."

"The property was beautiful, the staff was amazing! There was a beautiful bar and a happy hour! The bathroom was a bit small and the room seemed a little dated, but it’s an older palace and the history is so cool. We would return again! The area around the hotel is okay, it’s just very hard to cross a street as the traffic is insane-but that’s all of Kathmandu. "

"Overall nice stay. The view on a clear day is beautiful, the breakfast buffet is good, the pool area is lovely, massages were great. Staff is kind - shout out to Nelson who helped me recover my passport lost in a plane. On the downside the steam room and sauna were not working well, we did not get house cleaning on our second day and we did not like that the shower water dripped onto the whole bathroom floor. Just feedback for the team which I’m sure can be remedied. "
