"After booking more than a month in advance and requesting an early check in, as we were coming in for tournaments. We arrive after a 4 hour drive to encounter a manager who seemed to be making up "policies" with a chip on her shoulder, yes i got upset at all the suprise costs i had to pay but i still was respectful. I took screen shots of my itinerary from hotels.com and no where did it say "we do not accept cash"... so we got hit with the room fees (which would have been cheaper if we paid per day vs paying lump sum for whole stay) then got hit with the "early check: in (never mentioned when we called to confirm via phone and asked again about early check in) then was "charged/put on hold" another amount for incidentals... we checked out 5 days ago, im still waiting for my "hold/charge" to release my "hold/charge". Ive worked in hospitality so i strip the room and clean as much as i can to make it easier on house keeper. There is no need for them (other than the manger not liking me for asking questions) to STILL be "holding" money that i and my kids actually need. So if you are planning to stay there: read or call and ask about EVERY thing you will get charged for. Because had i known the amount i had to pay "extra" i would have gone elsewhere. Property wise, it has a pool no hot tub. Hot breakfast but insane "snack prices".
One positive is almost every other worker especially night front desk guy was very friendly, helpful and respectful. "
