"Baleens is now under new ownership and is about to be revamped. What we have always liked about Baleens is the easy going and friendly atmosphere. For example when we go for early morning hikes and arrive back after breakfast, Nato is always keen to make breakfast for us. These friendly gestures make the stay at Baleens a pleasure."

"Good spot for an overnight stay or if you don’t really need to prepare meals. Reason being, that there is no oven and the BBQ area is situated in the centre of other u it’s, so no privacy for anyone and impractical. Close enough to the seaside that you can walk, great fynbos area in front of unit. Very clean and a comfortable bed. Strong and hot water in shower. "

"Very nice spot with a nice view. Rooms are very clean and in good shape. The owners are very nice and flexibel. Only remark that the pool wasn’t clean at all and the restaurant was temporary closed. If this is open it is a perfect Place to stay. "

"Beatie was so welcoming and the guesthouse was charming. There were lovely little outside seating areas outside of the rooms and morning coffee was really lovely looking out over the trees to the sea."
