"We were given a room too far away from the front of the hotel.no consideration that we are seniors. The walkway is not at all level and my husband tripped, landed like 6 feet from where he tripped. "This was our first time staying at Fairways and it was amazing. This resort has a 18 hole golf course, private beach, pools everywhere and dinning options. My wife, daughter and myself loved this resort. The resort was so big it had 24 hr transportation around the facility and to the gate where it was extremely easy to get a E-bike to any station you wanted to go to. "Me and my companions were expecting that the our room at La Carmela would have a hotel type of amenities. We were assigned to a top floor and and end of the bldg, and so much is lacking in the room, was it because I availed a promo rate thru Expedia? The hotel service, you have to wait for another 24 hrs to get your requested items. Thankful to the front desk who assisted us, she was very accommodating. "
