Yogya means "suitable, fit, proper", and karta, "prosperous, flourishing" (i.e., "a city that is fit to prosper"). The Dutch name of the city is Djokjakarta. #goldenhour

"The walls are paper-thin and offer no soundproofing. Management failed to mention a music event that blasted bass until 11:00 PM, only to be followed by a 6:00 AM wake-up call from loud staff. Throw in terrible water pressure in the shower, and it was a miserable experience. Look elsewhere."
