"Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever been.
The whole atmosphere of the house and the surrounding area but also the rooms, breakfast, music during breakfast and the discreet but perfect service (not to intrusive) makes you feel like being in a grand hotel of the last century.
Next time I actually want to wear a better outfit to celebrate it even more 😄👍

"Varese was a nice area to stay in after a long overnight flight , away from the city and in the rolling hills On Lake Varese. We drove 10 min to rent bikes and rode along the lake side path with our kids. The views were quite beautiful. Also had a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant. Rental car is a must to stay here and in the area. Needed to

"Far too hot room. Garden view actually means view of car park and a hedge. “Home cooked croissants” for breakfast are actually frozen ones cooked on site. Restaurant far too expensive and simply not good enough - only for meat eaters - no choices for vegetarians. "

"Fantastic experience, especially considering the price point. One of the most interesting hotels I've ever stayed at. Food at the resturant also high quality. Thank god places like this have been preserved."
