"Paraty is a place to visit! Just skip this property. It’s not a hostel more like a local residence/ party spot. There was 3 families living there, that made it all rather unusual. The music never stops it’s on all day and typically goes off around 3-4 am. It’s difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bar/restaurant had nothing to drink other than 2 beers and only had potato chips for snacks. Not what I typically expect from a hostel. The house located in the beautiful authentic neighborhood of Santa Teresa is decorated with taste displaying very cozy and clean rooms. A delicious breakfast is served under the trees with a very nice view on the city and I had the chance to see the little monkeys populating Rio while having my morning coffee. "The location was good , and conditions acceptable if you had no money to look for a better place . I had 5 day reservation pay for it, and left the next day . Perfect for backpackers or anyone that don’t care about looks ."
