"Tim at the front desk was wonderful. He was friendly and very helpful. The room was nice and clean and we had a wonderful breakfast of fresh scrambled eggs, and sausage. The only negative which really was not their fault was the building had been struck by lightning the week before, so the Jacuzzi wasn’t working I don’t view that as a problem that could happen to anyone. I would recommend this place to anyone"

"The hotel and our room were clean and the breakfast was great! The outdoor patio off the breakfast area was really nice and quiet. Easy parking and good restaurants near by. Very convenient to get to downtown Roanoke, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Salem. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Four things could make it better. 1.I could not sleep in the bed because I could not get into it - way too high and I'm not a short person. 2. Have sheets in the sofa bed. I had to sleep with no covers or anything the first night. 3. Provide more than one wastebasket. 4. Remote instructions. It took us quite awhile to figure it out and then we had to try to figure out what we did again. "
