"My partner and I have stayed for a few nights over New Year’s Eve. The initial room wasn’t so great but after we complained we was treated and given the best room in the hotel! "We stayed in Canterbury for a little over a week, and ABode was the perfect place to stay. The staff were all gracious and helpful; the room was exactly what we needed; we were close to the cathedral as well as the shops and restaurants. The Christmas dinner was delicious, and there was so much of it! We also loved the breakfasts every morning. Highly recommend. "

As usual, lovely view over folkestone harbour , with white cliff of dover in the background. Good music event on 1 of the 2 nights. "

Was a little disappointed to be charged for parking, this seemed a little unnecessary given the location and felt like just a way to extract more money from guests. Given the location almost all guests would have to have driven so it would be clearer to include the full costs in one hotel price than have hidden costs as soon as you arrive. "
