"Booked as part of a longer trip. Situated on the high street, 10 mins from Glastonbury, 20 mins from Haynes Car museum. We only booked the one night, as this was the last leg of our trip, but would have gladly have stayed longer. Warm, friendly welcome. Twin room situated on the top floor. Beds were super comfy, great night sleep. We booked in for evening meal and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was lovely. Really enjoyed our stay, definitely book here...

" The first impression upon entering reception (it's in the pub) is that you feel like you've walked into the crime series Midsummer Murder and are looking to find Barneby. "Beautiful clean room, friendly staff, and good food. I told them that I am gluten intolerant, when I booked my stay and there was no problem with providing me with food that I could safely eat. Very good breakfast, cereal, fruit, toast and a delicious full English with good quality ingredients. "

"Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms. Very interesting history. Handy for town , 5 mins walk, hundreds of different restaurants Lovely to have decent tea and coffee facilities in our room, with delicious biscuits. A really pleasant little hotel, very handy for the Station – just opposite. Staff are extremely friendly "
