"Cute and comfy with a great coffee bar for a morning cuppa. The front desk was most helpful with answering questions (even though he was ultra busy in the laundry), and the beach access was just across the lawn. Parking was a breeze. Location wonderful. Comfy beds, great view, nice balcony. For an overnighter, couldn't ask for more."

"Beautiful place! Everything was new and clean and so comfortable. Bed and bedding was very comfortable - the sheets are noticeably good quality! The property was very nice and the view was beautiful. Loved the motion lighting for the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check in was easy. Parking was convenient. My only complaint was the tv - I couldn’t figure out how to use it, after turning it on it wouldn’t do anything or respond to any buttons pushed on the remote....

"We stayed at Painter's for two nights on the way to, and back, from Telegraph Cove. Painter's is a very relaxing place to stay on a busy road trip. It's a little time out to just sit on the fantastic terrace and have a drink or a meal and watch that spectacular view. On our first night, there was a humpback in the inlet and it was a joy to sit, with a glass of wine and some binoculars, and just watch it. The staff and so friendly and helpful, I enjoyed chatting about the gardens and the cruise...

"The photos do not match this hotel at all, this is a motel off the highway. The carpets were ripped and coming up along the sides, we had no toilet paper when we arrived and the vibe is dingy. The shower needed a deep clean, stains on the bottom. The free breakfast is ok for kids but the room felt dirty. The hotel is across the highway from the ocean and we saw a pod of orcas in the morning which was life changing but the photos make the hotel look like it's on the ocean. I never leave a bad...

"Property is an old inn, but well maintained, and clean, staff were very accommodating, there was a staff appreciation party happening on one of the nights I was there and the restaurant and pub closed early, as well as the restaurant was not available for breakfast due to a kayak group having reserved the restaurant. The room I was in needed a black out blind as the sun rises very early in June. All in all a great place to hang out for a few days while on Quadra."

"Non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Low ceilings, dimly lit, many spiders. Just generally a pretty gross motel. The view is great though lol"

"We have stayed at this property many times however this time we were not impressed. The rooms not clean bedspread was very dirty . Used bar soap in shower no cups for coffee.. I could on.. I am not sure why this stay was so poor because every past year we have come it has been good to Satisfactory."
