"This was a very well located hotel if you wanted to spend time on the beach but it was quite far from the old medina. Tangier is a very busy city and at certain times of the day the city is grid locked and it’s virtually impossible to get a taxi or move. The disappointments was there was no iron or hangers in the room. We had to wait nearly 4 hours to get some despite this being a supposedly 5 star hotel with ample wardrobe space - not much use without hangers. The hairdryer was a disgrace too...

"Unfortunately, this hotel was nothing like what was advertised. The photos are misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property, inside or outside. During our stay we experienced no Wi-Fi, bathroom doors that would not close, ripped sheets with cigarette burns, stained chairs, broken electrical sockets, a fridge that didn't work, rust throughout the hotel, poor cleanliness and a clear lack of maintenance. "Excellent location and really friendly staff. However there is not air conditioning in the room, only a fan. The area is noisy because it is central but the window is double glazed and has a shutter which helps. The staff helped us with finding a place to do our laundry and it was two minutes walk. They also arranged a taxi to the airport and helped us until last moment. Upen check-in you need to pay city tax, this is everywhere, just fyi. Place has stairs and no lifts just fyi. The rooftop...

"Dans l'ensemble, notre séjour a été décevant. La piscine était en mauvais état et ne semblait pas bien entretenue. Il manquait des serviettes dans la chambre, ce qui est regrettable. Nous avons également constaté l'absence de prises électriques près de la tête de lit, ce qui n'est pas pratique. Enfin, le petit-déjeuner était décevant, notamment le jus d'orange qui ne semblait pas être naturel. Malgré ces points négatifs, le personnel était accueillant et agréable."
