Hillside Inn
8/10 Good
"Hillside is very well updated and maintained considering the age."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Louisville NE/Old Henry Rd
8/10 Good
"Clean and modern room and hotel. Reasonably priced and even pet fee was reasonable. No bad smells or dirty room. Just a problem with the bathtub not draining properly. No hairdryer but there was an iron and ironing board. Stayed with my two kids and toy poodle. Will definitely stay again and recommend."

HavenPointe Inn & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"The renovation of an existing motel is very well done. Considering the price per night is almost 1/2 of the chain motels, we were concerned with staying there the first time. Now, if we ever need a room in this town, this place would be our first choice. It is a motel and not a hotel, which means you park for free at your room door, and enter your nice room from the outside of the building. The free breakfast in the lobby has fruit and prepackaged items you can take with you, to eat in your room, and take with you as you leave. A hidden gem, off of the main highway, where it is quiet."

Belterra Casino Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous !"

Drury Inn & Suites Louisville North
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and comfortable! The kickback and breakfast were great!!"

Baymont by Wyndham La Grange KY Southeast
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was well maintained with the rooms clean and bedding Immaculate. The carpet was cleaned and outside properly was well maintained. We were very impressed and it was our first time staying at a Baymont hotel. The only problem was that the bathtub was slippery while taking a shower, but there were hand bars to hold on to."

Quality Inn Carrollton
8/10 Good
"The free breakfast was decent--just the sort of items you would expect. The hotel was basically clean. Additional towel bars or hooks in the bathroom to hang hand towels and bath towels after use would have been helpful."

Best Way Inn Madison
8/10 Good
"This was one of the few rooms left in town for Madison Regatta 2026. Pretty standard for a pet friendly hotel, we were traveling without our dog, definitely in need of a massive remodel. Front desk had a left over Covid glass in place, so communication required asking for repeats at loud volumes coupled with several middle eastern accents it was frustrating to try and communicate. Enclosed pool was not vented nor air conditioned, it was stifling to even walk in the door. Lots of trash in weight room and pool area. Room was old, threadbare, dirty crevices throughout, with a noisy AC that cycled constantly, which turned out to be a plus to drown out most of the parking lot/highway noise. Definitely not worth the money, but we didn't really have a choice. Next time I'll bite the bullet, reserve 6 months early, and stay at Riverboat Inn or the horribly overpriced Fairfield by Marriot on the river."
