Kids loved taking the water taxi to Lime Out for a unique taco dining experience. It gets very loud on the weekends with multiple places blaring loud music all day. Not convenient located-you need a taxi to go anywhere, including the store for any snacks or essentials. The on-site restaurant has a limited menu and service is insanely slow, so prepare yourself...

"The Buoy Haus is a beautiful place to relax. And also with full access at the Westin you get the best of both worlds. Tranquil and serene with great rooms, pools, bars and fun. Beautiful resort close enough to anything in a taxi. Only note…breakfast and lunch are great but skip the Isla restaurant upstairs and go to Oceana or SeaSalt for dunner. The only downside. The staff are super friendly and helpful!"

"The room was nice and clean, loved the property, they do use golf carts to pick you up from the room. loved how the beach was so close by. Had an electricity problem in the room which was resolved in about 20 minutes. Was reeled into a timeshare meeting but nothing we haven’t done already and it cane with some perks afterwards so if you have the time on vacation but can easily be skipped by telling them you are not interested"

We paid quite a lot of money and to get a room with permanent dirty oil stains on the tile throughout, a broken bathroom lock being held together with a allen key (no kidding), located right over the restaurant with great food but a loud extractor fan going all day, and other obvious wear and tear was rather disappointing. "Our room was spacious and clean. Our oven wasn’t working, and we weren’t notified in advance. We stayed in building E and there was a lot of sargassum in that area of resort. A crew attempted to clean up the sargassum each day, but some days it was so thick that the crew couldn’t make much progress. The sargassum has a terrible odor and you can smell it as soon as you step outside."
