Campanile NATURE - Cahors

"Great hotel to spend a few nights but not really suitable to stay for a week as rooms are quite small and lack a fridge. Bed and pillows are very comfortable and noise from other rooms minimal. Great breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh produce, pastries and nuts/dried fruit. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to requests. All areas within the hotel are clean and well maintained. The hotel serves food at night (hot and cold buffet) and there are a few other places to eat nearby. The location is quiet as it is on the outskirts of Cahors. It is about a 30 minute walk to the centre via a path next to the road or through the retail park on the other side of the river."

"Gorgeous hotel across the river Lot from the medieval village of St Cirq Lopopie - provides a stunning view for swimming, dining and strolling. Lovely air conditioned large bedroom with en-suite walk in shower room. Everything was of the expected high quality - nearby (easy walk) is restaurant St Andre - fabulous and great value"
Domaine de Rochebois & Spa Nuxe

"We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. Unfortunately didn’t manage to have proper dinner as didn’t book in time - the restaurant is only small. Breakfasts were a highlight already though! We had a lovely family room which was a great size for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Plus a lovely large terrace. My only complaint would be for a family of 4 , giving us 2 double beds wasn’t practical. The sofa bed was too small for 2 teenagers of different sex! Or even a teenager + parent. We ended up requesting an additional camp bed which I don’t think we should have had to pay for. Overall a lovely stay though and we will definitely be back!"

"Nice new room . A bit of information left out is location and street parking. The hotel is also under construction and hallways are not finished.restaurant not opened which I was planning on eating stand none in walking distance. No amenities in room for washing hair, just body soap."

"We were so pleased to have stayed at the Manoir. We were made to feel very welcome and at home by our lovely hostess. Nothing was too much trouble and the setting, ambiance and facilities are second to none. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Please book it, you'll be glad you did 👍👍😊😊"
Château de Maraval

"Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up. All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families and girls trip if you want a nice quiet and fun getaway in medieval French setup ."
