"We had booked this property as a stayover for my mum who was needing to be at the hospital nearby early the next morning. The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. "I stayed in the Honeymoon suite...very comfortable bed!! everything was in good condition, apart from the lavatory, which made an horrendous noise when flushed, and there was no water pressure in the bath so it took over half an hour to fill the bath 50%. On the plus side, the staff were lovely, very helpful indeed and very kind. Breakfast very good too. I would stay again, and in the same room, provided they do something about the bathroom, which for a honeymoon suite leaves much to wish...

"This guest house is fabulous and much more interesting than chain hotels. It maybe old but it is full of character and decorated with interesting art, everything works and all mod cons are available. The people were so friendly and helpful too, we had a great holiday."
