"This was better than anticipated for what is listed as a one star hotel. Checked in with my dad and my dog. Rooms were clean, check in was easy. There was a nice lawn abutting the river in the back. I would stay here again if passing through town."
"Beautiful property, a lil gem tucked away is the best kept secret!
Home has a grand dining room, table & chairs seats for 18-20 guests! Definitely family style meals & conversations!
During our stay they offered an evening meal for an extra fee and being we stayed there over the 4th of July weekend it was a great option !!
Everyone was very nice, friendly and engaging— we will definitely be back!
We stayed in the WINDOW room either private bathroom and the view? SPECTACULAR!!
Thank you 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸"
"Stayed in Cabin 1. 1 King bed and a pull-out couch bed. There were no blankets for the pull-out bed only 2 flat sheets were found in the closet. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay after a long day of driving."
"The Sawin' Logs was a great place to stay. Twila, the owner, texted me at 1:00pm asking when we would arrive because she had a meeting from 2:30 to 4:00. I said we were 30 minutes out and she said come now! She greeted us as we came up the driveway, showed us around, gave us dining suggestions and away we went! We saw her in the evening, chatted about our day and hers and gave us ideas for day 2. It could not have been better. After hitting the sights and short drives, it was nice to just sit on the deck in the evening with a drink and chill. The view was fantastic. It's a short drive to Devils Tower and the Ponderosa, where we ate. If you've had enough of hotels and crowds, this is the place to be."
