"Can’t say I liked anything I’m afraid- seemed like only one man working there - nice enough - but place is very run down - toilet struggled to flush - room smelled like cat pee feel bad for saying so ."

"Room was small but clean enough. The big problem with us was the stairs and no lift. We were at the top of the hotel and quite a few flights of stairs . We are in our 70s and had two suitcases about 45lbs each. Ended up leaving them in the car and just taking what we needed from them for the night. We are from Canada and I understand a lot of hotels in Britain are like that."

"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

"We use this hotel as it is conveniently placed to visit friends in Keynsham for a yearly reunion. The hotel has friendly helpful staff and the breakfast is always of a good standard. The parking is good, the room very clean. Just one observation was the blind in the bathroom in our room 10 could be better but not a big issue."

"Luxurious quality with traditional English charm! Very comfy bed and really nice shower. Having a courtyard and some fresh cream Victoria sponge when we arrived was a bonus! Tasty breakfast in the garden-facing diner. Central location. "

"Great hotel with charm and character right on the perimeter of the bath city center. Easy walk to all of the main attractions. Parking right on site which was great. Older hotel so no elevator or air conditioning, but full of charm and very nicely maintained."
