"Very helpful front desk, clean and tidy accommodations. The full size fridge and electric range were also very nice to have. Bed was ok in terms of comfortable. The pull-out couch bed was not comfortable at all. Room service was good. Water pressure in the shower wasnt great but the temperatures control was. The swimming pool was very clean and kept up with daily. The vicinity to the beach was perfect. The only downside was really the fact that all the close restaurants were very sub-par and expensive for what they offered."

"Coffee mill atmosphere was nice, very pet friendly, could use work around the edges (rust in the stairwell, outdated and crusty bathtub, stains on the ceiling— things were clean but not nice looking if that makes sense), staff was AMAZING and so helpful. Got into our room early, helped with my service dog not being a pet, got us a parking pass to go to the beach while our room wasn’t ready yet. "

"Just got back from our beautiful 2 night stay at the Surf Shanty. Whoever owns this hotel put a lot of love and creativity into refurbishing it. The rooms are beautifully done and there are many thoughtful little touches including Aveda products for the shower. Well lit inside and out and a compact little parking lot in front exclusively for quests. We found the beds to be comfortable, the shower hot, the AC cool, the TV big, and the hotel itself, quiet. Thank you for a great stay!"
