"The hotel was new and had a fresh smell. The room was clean and well stocked. The king size bed was very comfortable and the A/C cooled the room nicely. The parking lot was almost full and due to the large amount of guests, the entry was quite dirty yet the attendant who had access to a broom didn’t seem concerned about the negative appearance this gave to the hotel. Upon arrival I used the luggage cart in the lobby and noticed that the top had been installed upside down so the portion for hanging clothes wasn’t accessible and the entire top was loose and rattled a lot. When I arrived on my floor, and entered the main hallway, I saw that the exit sign and its emergency light were hanging from the ceiling by the wires. When I returned the luggage cart to the lobby, I asked the attendant about the cart and the Exit sign and emergency light that were hanging by the wires. He said due to the low height of the ceiling in the hall, the luggage cart struck the sign and broke it loose from the ceiling but they hadn’t taken the time to fix either the cart or the exit sign. There were also 2 extra long boxes that had been delivered near the lobby entrance and also did not make a good first impression."

"Wonderful hotel. Round Top is the home of one of the most renowned antique festivals in the country, and the decoration in this hotel reflects that. No cheat or generic furnishings or decor. Everything shows great taste. Congratulations!"

"There is not much to say about a $56 a night place to sleep. Room appears to have been updated. Furniture and bed were clean but the floors and bathroom were not. Ac worked. There was not breakfast in the morning and the front office door was locked when we went to check out at 830am. Attendant at the desk for check in was a nice guy."

"Easy to get in. I ordered two double beds and got a room with one double bed. The property manager said it was an old picture and they do f have two bed options. Bed was very uncomfortable. It is clean and is close to town. "

"First the staff at check in was Awesome breakfast lady awesome the one I over night no way I had 2 towels and needed more for 4 people in the room he said no you only get 2 towels for all people you have to use them and bring him the dirty towels after every shower to get 2 more. Ridiculous. My sheet had lip stick stains on it and you don't get a comfortable only a sheet and the brown blanket. Beds were hard no coffee in room or iron or blow dryer. Old hotel looks like an old nursing home. Breakfast was bread waffles you make cereal there was 1 little Debbie cup cake and cheap cookies that look like Oreo packs but they aren't oreos. Pool is warm and is inside no pool towels. If you need a cheap hotel and don't mind all this then it's fine. Would not stay again."
