"Would have liked a map to the grounds. Forgot or didn’t know there was a pool. I asked about a dining room and was told no but it was obvious at breakfast they had one and a bar for the evening. Staff was helpful at recommending a dinner place offsite at checkin however. Staff Was not aware of ferry parking for Martha’s Vineyard."

"A day or two after booking the room I called to ask if we could check in early. The staff member I spoke with stated that she would need to confirm with her manager but that if I did not hear back from them, we would be able to check in early. Upon arrival, I was informed that there was no indication that we were flagged for early check in, and that there would have been an additional charge to do so if we had been. To his credit, the manager attempted to accommodate us but was unable to as we needed to leave before our room would be ready. He did offer to let us leave our bags near the front desk. When we returned after normal check in, I found our bags in the lobby, It would have been a nice touch to have had them brought to our room. The room was a strange configuration. It appears to have been converted from a prior configuration and had three entry doors. It was clean but oddly decorated with hats on a wall and it was an accessible unit with a handicapped shower. There was a wall thermostat that did not seem to control the AC vents but there was a window unit that worked adequately. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. This property served it's purpose as a place to stay before catching the morning ferry to Martha's Vineyard. I might consider returning for that purpose but would not recommend it as a destination."

"Location is fantastic. The beach view is second to none as you're literally 1 step from the beach and 15 feet from the ocean. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything seemed to be newly remodeled. Only negatives are there was no kitchenware in the kitchenette. No plates forks spoons or knives. Tile floor always felt wet and slippery and a little slimy probably due to salty ocean air. The staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"Inn is traditional motor lodge where we stayed. Doors opening outside where you can pull up to the door. Very modest decor. Beds comfortable. Great AC. Indoor and outdoor pool. Not fancy or posh at all but provides the things you need. It is in a great location just a few blocks off Main Street and a few blocks In the other direction to the beach. Met our needs and we would stay again if in the area."

"Great location. Handy for ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. You need a car but there’s designated parking and it is minutes from shops. Room has a Murphy bed and a sofa bed. We had a lovely upper level balcony with westerly views. Bbqs available. Pool never too busy. Communal cooking facilities basic but available."
