"I never give reviews but had to give one for our stay. Room was dusty, looks like whoever cleaned it only dusted the top of the nightstands, everything else was covered throughout the room. Bathroom door handle was falling off, Hot tub was only open for one night and was under maintenance for the rest of our stay, pool was cloudy and slightly green(we never swam in it), air conditioner was so rattly and loud had to sleep with earbuds in but it did keep the room cool, thankfully the staff was...

"Staff was great. Had our room moved twice due to wiring issues and no tv remote to turn on tv. Exterior of the motel was populated by one person sitting in their car as they had a variety of visitors. Lock and chain was broken on our front door but by that point we had no interest in moving rooms again."

"our rooms werent ready for check-in when we arrived we had to go wait in town with all of our stuff and we came back hours later to find them still not ready. staff was unhelpful and difficult. other people in the hotel got locked out of their rooms and got no help from front desk and they had to find a different place to stay since they couldnt get back in. people were loud in the rooms all day n night and dogs were barking and going crazy."

"The pictures look better than reality. The upkeep of property is very poor. The room was somewhat clean. I woke up in middle of night and there was a roach crawling on bed. When I went to checkout no one at front desk so I could not discuss with staff about the cleanliness and roach. I would not recommend."

"The bathroom sink plugged up and stank. Shower pressure was horrible. The girl at the front desk and the young man that she brought with her to unplug the sink were both polite and helpful. When we were leaving the next morning, we passed by 3 or 4 employees and not one of them even looked at us or acknowledged us, let alone a thank you or have a nice day. Do not recommend."

"Right in the heart of downtown Grand Junction within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants. Try Cruise Control a couple blocks from hotel for great beer, cocktails and food. Hotel Melrose has been beautifully restored— Lovely sitting area, backyard patio, and a great lounge. We will definitely stay again."

"The heat was on in my room and was very hot. Trash in the parking lot, beat up parked cars in parking lot. Stairways to my room were dirty, and the slip grip was coming off of some of the steps. The lamp next to bed was broken only one light bulb in it and the pug was cut off so lamp was not working. Room had 2 bath towels , not wash cloth or hand towel nor mat for floor when got out of shower, partial roll of toilet paper , no drinking glass or hand towel in room. TV remote wouldn't...
