"I was incredibly dissatisfied with my stay at the Moxy. The room size, the lack of an actual chair with a back on it, incredibly inconvenient storage space for clothes, a plywood fold down from the wall as a desk or side table, a broken body wash pump that was not changed before I came for my stay, inconvenient hours for the rooftop bar and restaurant for breakfast or lunch…. was NOT in any way, shape or form worth the over priced $212 or so a night I spent. And that doesn’t include the extra I paid to eat at the restaurant and drink at the bar(s). The WORST part is the staff member who was condescending to me Sunday after my check out when I explained why I didn’t enjoy my stay (only because I was asked at check out). This person went out of their way to tell me how the property is actually bigger and better than ones around the country, the Moxy isn’t really for the kind of stay I was looking for, and if I wanted a chair with a back I should have just asked because as he said, “People just don’t know how to ask for what they need.” And offered me a banquet/events chair……. that’s insulting. I would NOT recommend the Moxy to anyone looking to spend money on a nice hotel to treat themselves. INCREDIBLY disappointing."

"The stay was just average and for the price we were charged, it was very underwhelming. They had every opportunity to make our wedding night a great memory, but the hotel is just getting run down. The carpet was damp and the linens were stained. The staff were acting like robots just reciting a script. The aquarium across the street was absolutely incredible! It was the only thing about this Bass Pro location that was enjoyable."

"The hotel smells of cigarette smoke and pot smoke despite a $150 fine if you smoke. Our room was missing a smoke detector, phone didn’t work, first comforter on the bed was stained with dirt on one side and burn holes on the other."
