Lchang Nang Retreat - The House of Trees

"Great property with a bunch of complimentary activities and free bikes to ride around. Very close to the Sumur sand dunes. The food is just basic, they could do better in this department. However, it is easy to get a reservation at Kyagar that is right next door and has better food in my opinion. Accessibility for the elderly or those physically challenged could also be better, some of the stairs were too high for my mother to use with easy, the staff was very receptive of this though and took pictures immediately of the stair to share with the management. The staff was great! I would recommend"

"This is a lovely little oasis with spacious, well-lit, clean rooms. The restaurant serves tasty home made food and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. My partner was feeling sick when we checked in so the staff took extra care of us - liaised with our driver to coordinate a change in our plans and even gave us some electrolytes to make sure he stays hydrated. The location is a bit of a walk from the main street with other restaurants ans shops but if you're happy to eat at the property (the food is diverse and good quality) or have a driver to take you around, that won't be a problem. The slightly tucked away street means the stars are more easily visible at night, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend staying here!"
