This hotel was a welcome stop en route to the Tunnel and surpassed our expectations. From the receptionist Stephanie (who helped find and telephone a local garage for our friends who had run out of fuel) to the restaurant, everyone had a friendly smile and greeting, to make us feel at home.
We had a very nice room 21, ground floor opening out onto a garden, with 2 loungers and a table outside with fencing to divide us form the adjoining rooms. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient, the...

We were met by the lovely Hugo who upgraded us to the very lovely Gîte. We had pre booked dinner as there is nowhere walkable nearby and we wanted a drink or two! Hugo prepared us a super feast and kept us entertained with a music quiz and plenty of wine. Then we went for a swim in their fancy indoor pool. A very memorable night in a charming place. Highly recommended!

Convenient stopover stay travelling down to Southern Europe. Friendly staff and v reasonable price. Restaurants nearby and Laon old town is worth looking around although up 200+ steps.

A very nice stay . Comfortable room and a wonderful view. Unfortunately you needed to pay extra for air conditioning and book a different room, which was not indicated at time of booking and as it was 35degrees at the time of our stay this was an issue.
Food in the restaurant was lovely.
Our friends got charged for breakfast even though they did say on checking in that they did not require one. This was rectified after being pointed out by myself.
A lovely cocktail to end the day .

Was welcomed by the hotel manager. It is very useful that reception is manned until 11p.m. Good choice at the buffet and efficient service. It is always a plus to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The room is a chalet adjacent to a nice provincial restaurant beside the railway station at Vervins, Picardy. The room was comfortable and clean, the owner very helpful.

Hotel de la Banniere is like the hotels that you used to stay in with your parents in the 1950's ( with modern facilities and comfortable beds!). Either you like it or you don't. We like it. We met a couple in the EXCELLENT hotel restaurant who have stopped off here each year for 30 years, this is only our 3rd so have a few visits to go. We intend to stop off here every year.
Staff are great, speak English. You can book secure parking. Book the restaurant when you arrive and come down early

What’s a holiday rental in Dizy-le-Gros like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Dizy-le-Gros. Holiday rentals offer amenities like WiFi and washers and dryers so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a clean environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is an attractive option for a small group gathering.
