"staying at Cascina Cortine was the best experience we had during our entire 3 week vacation in northern Italy. My husband and I highy recommend this B&B in Guarene, a special little town. Our hostess and host, Danila and Bruno were simply magnificent in every way. The accomodations were very comfortable and every detail was tended to by Danila. "Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. Barbara and Massimo, the owners, gave us a tour of the palazzo and the neighborhood....
