"Smoking alarms went off twice during sleep and kept beeping crazily… call"

"Stayed at Extended Stay America Suites – Fremont – Newark and had a very disappointing experience. The property looks nothing like the photos on Expedia, everything felt outdated, dirty, and had a strong unpleasant smell. The room furniture was worn out and torn, and the bathroom looked poorly maintained. Our first room had a window that wouldn’t close and thin shades that let in too much light, making it hard to sleep. We requested a room change but were asked to “adjust” multiple times....

"Very nice service at the front desk. Everyone we interacted with was kind. The room was very clean. The entire property was tidy. Highly recommend this property for short or long stay. "

"The breakfast was delicious, offering something new each day for a hot breakfast. My only complaint was the mattress for the pullout bed was terrible, old and very worn. We were unable to use the pullout bed which we were planning on using! Overall it was a nice place to stay!"

"Soo disappointed. I made this reservation specifically for the jacuzzi and it has been closed for weeks apparently. The staff was not nice and the building is outdated. I could have used that money to stay in a cheaper place for the same quality. 👎"

"The stay pretty much met my expectations based on the rate. In certain regards it exceeded my expectations. I'd projected the place as being as much residential as transient based, but it didn't view that way. The room and complex were clean. I did spot a couple of small individual roaches, but over the course of two weeks, I consider that next to nothing. The bedding was negligible, fitted sheet, one sheet and thin blanket, with the blanket oddly being placed first, with the sheet layered on...

"I really wished the internet worked. It was horrible without. They said internet was available, but it took hours to get on and when I did it only last 15 minutes. They really need to fix it. Bathroom shower was leaking, one of the lights to turn on did not work."

"lots of parking, a really old hotel, but it was clean. I had appt at Stanford Medical and it was convenient. Lots of more expensive hotels right next to it. For the cost, it was a good deal. Just know it is old. It worked for a night."

"Check in office was spotless. Smelled good staff at desk. Very kind. Very nice… Parking lot immaculate not a piece of anything laying around in the parking lot spotlessly clean rooms very clean very clean. Very spotless… One thing I will say is a lot of the plugs did not work. They need to check the plugs and get them working better"
