Ein wunderbar gelegenes Hotel hoch oben im Wald, wenn auch mit dem Fahrrad als Schlussetappe etwas schwierig ;-) Dafür hat man uns gleich an der Rezeption ein Glas Wasser gereicht.

Hotel midden in de bossen. Even verder mooi uitzicht op de Ruhr. Prachtig ontbijt voor slechts 6 euro per persoon. Goede wifi. Een aanrader voor wie rust zoekt.

Det var et dejligt stille sted. Midt i et skovområde med en dyrepark i baghaven. Værelset var stort og virkede nyistandsat. God morgenmad.

A very pleasant surprise!

First class service, the staff were brilliant, had to leave early on last day prior to breakfast and the restaurant ladies insisted on making coffee to go. Dinner was excellent limited menu but first class food. The hotels location was a surprise a secluded woodland with no sight of the heavy industries of the area. Will certainly stay again next time I am in the area.

Rooms in separate guest house. Rooms adequate and clean, if a bit spartan. Restaurant did not serve full menu the night I stayed there, but that might have been due to few guests. Breakfast is a really good deal and excellent.

Nice quite hotel in a small forest next

The hotel is perfect for a good quite sleep in the busy Ruhr area, because its located in a small park. The breakfast does not have a large selection, but for 6 euro it is okay and at least everything was fresh. I would not recommend it with snowy conditions without a 4wheel drive due to the steep entrance road, but normally that should be no problem.
