"Walls are paper thin. Can hear alarms and talking through of room next door. But great location, pool was nice and like the shared kitchen area. Rooms spacious and clean and modern. Never received email with details to access room. Had to go through emails to find contact number but once I called them the pin was sent through within 30 seconds"

"We had a very spacious ground floor two bedroom unit. Each room had its own bathroom which was fantastic with the kids. Right on the esplanade with water views. It was lovely to sit out on the deck with a coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay again."

Possibly the best bed that we have slept in on our stay on our various days in Australia. And a pillow menu is always greatly appreciated. "Rhonda and Chris were great hosts, friendly and helpful with where to go and what to do. We had 10 nights at the accommodation and used it as a base for getting out and about and being adventurous. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We ate in half the time so the kitchen was put to good use. The views from our room were fantastic overlooking the ocean which was probably only about 30m away. All rooms overlooking the ocean. Car parking was great with overhead cover. Palm Cove is a lovely quiet little resort with great cafes, restaurants and shopping facilities. Not too noisy like Cairns, unless that’s your thing. Compared to other larger hotels/accommodation in Palm Cove we thought the price tag for staying at Merlin Waters was exceptional value for money. Highly recommended."
