The Spit at Southport on the Gold Coast is a permanent sand spit dividing the Southport Broadwater from the Pacific Ocean. The Sand pumping jetty is a popular place for photographers, surfers, swimmers, fishermen and dog walkers. This Northern end of Main Beach is where you'll also see the fishing trawlers departing and returning with their catch. Why not also take a walk through the natural 3.5km bushland track or pop into SeaWorld for a day of adventure . Make sure you are at your destination prior to the time you want to shoot the photograph so you can set the shot. #goldenhour
